Can we add life members in the portal who made offline payment. Can we give them tag?

  • The members who maid online payment during the registration process will get the payment receipt and they are assigned the LM(Life membership) tag automatically.

  • The members who choose the option 'paid earlier', will come for admin payment approval, where the admin can check the details and approve their payment, then the member will get the LM tag assigned. No receipt would be available in the portal in this case.

  • If the 'Offline' option is enabled for the payment account, members will be able to view an option of 'Offline' mode of payment, where members need to enter the offline mode details as the cheque reference number and the date, it will create an offline order and admin can check and mark the order as verified, then the member will get the LM tag assigned. In this case, the receipt is generated.

  • Such offline orders are available only if the members have chosen the option. Currently, the admin does not have the option to create such offline orders manually or in bulk.

  • If you have a case with many members who are paid offline and need to generate orders from the portal, we can propose a workaround option from the Funds module. The fund's module has the option of adding offline contributors to a particular fund, manually by the admin. Those contributors can be added in bulk from the backend to a particular fund. So, if a fund is created in the portal with the name 'Membership Offline payments', all the offline contributors can be added. We can import them in bulk from the backend, in case of a big volume.
